Argosy provides joint venture capital to its operating partners to acquire, develop, redevelop, and/or recapitalize real estate assets. We focus on multifamily, lodging, office, retail and residential land properties. Argosy’s equity investments typically range from $5 to $20 million. Argosy is currently investing its third fund, Argosy Real Estate Partners III, L.P., a $200 million closed-end, fully discretionary, commingled fund. Argosy is able to move quickly to capitalize on investment opportunities.
Argosy seeks to invest in undervalued transactions where opportunistic returns can be generated through the implementation of a value creation strategy. Our investment team understands real estate fundamentals and has meaningful operating experience in the asset classes in which we invest, allowing us to move efficiently through due diligence and assist in the execution of business plans.
Argosy’s strategy is to invest in undervalued or broken transaction at significant discounts. We look for value add and opportunistic investments where there is significant upside potential in the investment.
We take a long-term perspective with our operating partner relationships and seek to establish partnerships that generate multiple joint venture opportunities over time. Argosy strives to be the capital partner of choice for operators pursuing lower middle market transactions in our targeted sectors.
